Ok here is the situation, I have a subdomain with 60K pages. Only 25K pages generated at least 1 click the last 2 years. I would like to migrate to a new stack. Before doing so, I figured some cleaning might be useful (instead of draggin the mess).
The business is about buying used cars so we have urls with the brands, brands+models, models+other specific details. The URL structure is not consistent. I wonder the best way to handle all these URLs before migration.
Does it make sense to keep the 25K pages with at least 1 click and then 410 the rest or should I 301 redirects the models to the right brand pages to stay only with the brand pages? I’m confused.
Moreover, based on Analytics data, only 1400 pages generated at least 1 lead the last 2 years. Another important info is most of the models+other specific details URLs have been created by a faceted navi.
