Local Business falsely using location
For context I’m fairly new to SEO and am helping my brother out with his business to gain experience. I’ve noticed one of his competitors ranked #1 and #3 for the two biggest keywords in his field of business but the issue is this competitor is using a physical address that they are clearly not at. I checked their socials and they are actively posting with information showing the same address as well.
What would you guys do in this situation? -

I would report it. You can also suggest an edit and change it to their real address.

Your competitor’s address isn’t your issue with local SEO.
The issue could be your pages aren’t setup to target the right keywords, or your business profile isn’t optimized, or you have considerably less google reviews, or a list of other things.
