Lead Gen for a Millionaire Real Estate Agent
Hello, I have a friend who does real estate. He found out I do digital marketing and knows I do pretty well. I’ve done almost a million in revenue since 2019.
He asked me if I can get him leads for him so he can help them buy/sell their homes. In exchange every lead he closes on he would give me a commission. He ofcourse would pay for the ads.
However I’ve never done lead Gen, I’ve only done Facebook ads for ecommerce which is quite different. I also don’t have a ton of time, but I am interested in this opportunity because it will give me chance to learn more.
What type of ads work well? What CTA should I use? What type of landing page should I use? Should I just have a sign up form?
Any specific resources where I can read up on lead Gen for real estate?

You should let someone who knows what they are doing run the ads, and you observe and learn from them. Real estate is very lucrative, but hard to get results if you’re a beginner. If you want to impress your friend, but you’re not sure what to do, definitely work alongside an experienced expert (like myself, one of the other guys commenting on this post, or someone else you can find and validate their expertise)

Drive them to a sign up form and retarget like mad with email and text real estate market updates. You can also do voice mail drops.
Make your money up front. Find out his budget and pocket half for your time.

Because you haven’t done any lead gen, you’re probably also not aware of the [TCPA](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_Consumer_Protection_Act_of_1991) act.
When you receive a prospect’s contact data, you will contact them by phone. But, if your leads are being submitted by sweatshops/ clickfarms just to get the affiliate commissions; you might be calling someone who didn’t fill in the form and you get sued at $500 per call.So, have a fraud detection in place (to filter the bogus leads and refuse to pay them) and record the proof of consent, which enables you to show evidence if someone (read: bad/ rogue lawyers) fills in the form just to get your call, and claiming they never filled in the form, and sue you.
I know this hasn’t to do with your question, but you’re targeting a premium market so people think you have the money. I’ve seen many business seriously affected. And as you are new to this, better be safe than sorry!
