  Landscape promotional video, post as reel ?

  I want to market a product I sell on my website on the associated fb/ig pages. There is a professionally shot landscape video I have of the product, but I am not sure whether it’s best posted as a reel or as a regular post/video?

  I keep hearing reels drive more engagement but the video isn’t shot with reels in mind (horizontal 16:9 aspect ratio). I can post it nonetheless and meta will add black dead space on the top and bottom but is this a good idea?

  I would do both. You can use an ai video editor to change the aspect ratio to work on Reels.
