So i had started a youtube channel + instagram for my short films that i made but in all those videos you hear my voice and see my face. Now with Meta training their ai with your post without asking i took all my videos down. The thing is that im kinda scarred that my face could be used for deepfake or ai. My mother already got 2 scam calls with ai voices. So my question: should i continue with the things i love and post it online? Or are my worries correct?

Hey, your concerns are totally valid, but don’t let fear stop you from creating! Maybe blur your face or use voice modulation software to protect your identity while sharing your passion.

I am figuring out how to do YouTube, Reels, & TikTok by using Stable Diffusion to create a character, use another AI to create a 3d mesh based on that character, bringing that into a 3d party character modeling app to sculpt it a bit more, using Blender & a rigging program to re-rig it, and create environments and animations, then bringing those animations done with mocap into Unreal Engine for rendering, then adding final touches to make the footage more photorealistic in Davinci Resolve/Fusion with some lens distortion, blur, and adding some chromatic aberrations into the rendered image in the final edit/color correction to make everything look more real, and using Bark and RCV to create a voice for the characters. I think the tech is there to keep yourself off YT, Reels, and TikTok, but create realistic enough videos in a fairly streamlined workflow now. I don’t want to be cloned, but I do want to create cool things with the new tech.

Even if models were trained on your voice and face, it would be combined with so much other content that it will not replicate yours exactly, out-of-the-box.

Tools are already available for anyone to replicate voices with 10 seconds of audio, and faces with 15 photos. This would have to be done manually, but it’s already possible.

Nobody is safe from this, so you may as well publish content if you want to. It won’t make a difference either way.

You can start a faceless YouTube channel, you can also use AI voice to create your content, there many of those online.

from your OP I’m guessing you are more focused on motion-picture content and videos. However, if you ever want to create seamless image content with AI I can deffo recommend Cantina.ai. Been using it to create dope stock imagery for my content too.
