  I’ve bought an Instagram username but I can’t access it…

  I’ve bought a 7 letter Instagram name for my business from a legit person. This is my first time buying an account, so I thought if he changes the name I will be able to use it…

  Now I’ve paid the guy and he changed it but when trying to secure the name it says “username not available”. Does someone has experience with this and knows if I will still be able to obtain the username?

  (The guy does not want to sell his entire account)

  There might be a waiting period before you can change your account name to one someone else was using.
