I’m wondering if I should invest time growing my social media account. Will that translate into more sales? What’s your experience like? Is social media dead?

Depends… what is your business? Do you have a proven track record of sales? Do you have content?
Do you have budget for paid ads? Organic social will get you brand awareness etc… sales require paid ads and viral content.

Social media will evolve but it will never be dead. People are tied to their phones.

Social media is just a term devised over the last 20 or so years to categorize digital platforms centered around socializing/communication. So technically speaking, no, social media will never be dead. Human beings have been “social” since the dawn of time. It’s the methods available to us to do so that have changed. Many platforms will come and go, technologies will change and evolve, but any business that has any interest in being successful now and in the future needs to understand and effectively navigate these digital platforms to drive awareness, build brand, and drive sales.

Depends, if you grow a TikTok account and sell to boomers, probably not. If you grow a LinkedIn account, hell yeah. source: 35k followers on LinkedIn. and 50% of our new users (also – we’re a LinkedIn automation tool so all our users are there).

More than half the planet uses social media monthly. If you are asking that question, you aren’t bright enough to understand the answer.

I quit for my mental health. The negatives started to outweigh the positives, but I’m sure there are people out there rn who are enjoying themselves and having success with social media.
