It can be worth it if you have enough search volume and there is a good reason to build one. Otherwise, keep it all in one campaign.

Might be low volume but CPCs should be cheaper.

We split it if the brand is big enough. It always is worth it as competitors or secondary markets like Amazon will swoop up those terms
