Is it worth buying backlinks?
I’m trying to rank a new niche site for a keyword that has a ahrefs keyword difficulty of 2. I’m wondering if it’s worth paying for backlinks and if so where to buy them.

It depends on the competition in your niche.
Search for this keyword and then take a look at the link profile of the top competitors and see where are they getting links and try to match them -

The truth is everybody’s saying NO because according to Google, it’s bad. But the reality is almost everybody is selling backlinks nowadays. That’s because site owners realized the value and power of backlinks. That value they give now comes at a price. And yes, high DR sites can really bring your DR up. Traffic, that depends on how good your content is if it will go up or down. There is a lot to check. So when you do outreach, expect 99% of sites will ask for a fee. I have done so many outreach myself and I can personally attest to that. My old client made a list of all backlinks we won during our campaign and you can find those real, no PBN/linkfarm sites at outreach.store.

A new nich website may still need some time. It may be stuck in Google sandbox. I would say would don’t need to buy links, not yet. Maybe you can build some easy backlinks. Take a look at your competition backlinks.

The best thing you can do is get an expired domain related to your niche with good DA, PA, and links. You can outrank them easily.

Buying backlinks is not a white-hate SEO technique. As you have seen after the google spam update Oct 2022. many sites have lost their ranking and traffic. So make backlinks organically and related to your niche.

Now days buying backlinks is not worth it because google doesn’t like them. But If you have budget then you can buy HARO backlinks, which increases EAT of your website.

The simple answer is no. If you do choose to buy backlinks, you need to be extremely careful about the quality of the links and the sites that you are buying them from. There are a lot of shady companies and individuals out there who are more than happy to sell you poor-quality links that will do more harm than good.

There is no need to purchase backlinks for that keyword. Just get a few backlinks from Web 2.0, forums, image submissions, etc. These would be sufficient to achieve first place.
