  Is it true accounts which switch from private to public accounts have less reach then new public accounts?

  I have come to this conclusion because my meme page was private and went it went back to public my reach doesnt reach new audiences.
  While new public accounts have skyrocketed the algorithm
  Content quality isnt the case here
  Also i have seen many accounts which went from private to public and almost all of them have the same case as mine
  If you know an account which went from private to public but still has managed to get some good foreign audiences other than your followers then please let me know
