Absolutely go for it, but you don’t have to jump all in (especially now). Build up your side clients until you have 60% of your existing income replaced. From there you’ll have the time quickly replace the rest.

It might be the best time! I just hope you plan to offer more than backlinks and content. There are so many full-service SEO agencies that offer a wide range of SEO/SEM services and not many highlights backlinking because today’s machine learning algorithm doesn’t weigh it also high in the ranking factor as it used to.
