Is it the right time to launch my own agency?
I have been in this field for a few years now, and over the last few months with the help of a friend, I have been working on starting my own backlink agency and I picked up a client on the side and the Consulting fee helped me in hiring a couple of interns who can help me with the Outreach and Content Writing part of the process while I am getting my website ready.
That being said, I realise that this is not an ideal situation, but if I stop now I also think that vital time might be lost when I am already stuffed with a job that pays too little for the 10-12 hours that I put in on a daily basis.
I would be glad to hear the opinion from you guys on this.
Edit : Happy to answer any backlink related queries to the best of my ability.

There isn’t really a bad time to launch an agency related to digital marketing imo.

I’m doing an afilliate website as a a newbie blogger. When should i get into backlinking? I only have ten little articles yet. I’m trying to find my niche also.
Extra: actually it started as a comparison site idea but everyone says i need to focus on niche to get real income. I myself am actually thinking more broad approach. What do you think?

Do it, but until you have a few customers to be sure that you can survive without the job… Stay there. In plus, I think it will help you the apps for which the company pays now and maybe you do not have budget for them wright now. Cheers

Ok, so this depends on your niche market. Some industries still required services from a Marketing Agency. It all depends on your network and your previous experience.

There is no right or bad time.
Yes, we expect the most negative scenario. The key questions now are how bad the recession will be and how long it will last. If your clients have no money, you can’t make money. So… it depends on many factors.

You should totally start your own agency. It’s the best time to start now with everyone calling this a recession. I’ve read numerous tweets of successful agency owners who started their own agencies during the last recession and did pretty well for themselves during the last 12 years.

I think you should do it now because you have ample time to monitor everything now. Until everything gets normal you will be able to promote your agency as well as it will later help you to earn extra.
