Is it better to curate or create content on social media?
When it comes to social media, there's always a big debate about whether it's better to curate or create content. Honestly, both strategies have their perks, but I’ve found that content curation can be incredibly effective, especially for small businesses like ours. By sharing content from various sources, not only do we save time and resources, but we also build relationships with other creators and businesses. This can open doors to more brand deals and collaboration opportunities, which are golden for expanding our reach and credibility. Curation helps us stay active and relevant on social media without the constant pressure of coming up with new content. It’s about finding interesting, useful content from other sources and sharing it with our audience, adding our own insights or twists to it. This approach not only gives our followers value but also positions us as a hub of useful information in our niche. Plus, when we collaborate with other brands and share their content, they often return the favour. This mutual sharing boosts our visibility and brings new eyes to our own original content, creating a win-win situation for everyone involved. Would love to know what everyone thinks!

Should probably do both if you want maximum impact. Curated has its place, but if your entire social media strategy relies on sharing other people’s content, that’s not much of a strategy at all. Appreciate it takes time and resources to create your own.
