Is Instagram slowly dying? Are regular users out there (excluding content creators) losing interest?

I have completely lost interest. I hate how it’s just random “curated” junk. no reason to follow specific people anymore as you could still be suggested their content.
it’s painfully obvious the app wants to keep you addicted so I don’t want to waste my time with it anymore. -

Yes, well, that’s the algorithm for you. It rewards theft & banality, & people are getting sick of it

We have a big account but get no money from it, but the same posts on Facebook get 4 figure income. Just sort of lost interest on instagram for like 3 months because of this, and when we post it’s just like a wet fart. Feels dead.

I use it maybe once a week, not posting, but dming the friends I’ve made. Every social media app ends up being used as a messenger
