  Facebook is ALWAYS updating their algorithms, and is ALWAYS tight-lipped about them.

  They might make an announcement that they have just updated an aspect of how things get ranked, but that is usually when they are responding to a long series of very public complaints, and they NEVER give the details because fi they did, the purpose of the algorithm update would be defeated the same day.
