Is Adding Official As Suffix To My Company Name On Social Media Alright?
I have been trying to finding a name for my company.
**Question 1)** I saw all the names I’ve been thinking are taken on Instagram.
Even the accounts have no post, 1 post, absent for a long time etc.
You wouldn’t know the names taken are their Profile Registered User Names or just their Nicknames. There is no Instagram Support to deal with.
Suggestions???**Question 2)** So Is that alright I put “Official” as suffix to my company name?
Like XOfficial? (Let’s say X is my company name)​

1. You can’t do much about taking other folks registered usernames, unless you’re a larger brand and own a copyright, official support won’t do much. You might be able to go through an agency, but again – it’s not likely to work, and might be costly. Your best bet is to DM them and ask them if they’re interested in selling, but I’d bet if they are blank profiles, it’s likely the original user isn’t even logging in at this point.
2. This might be your only option, but I’d suggest adding a suffix at the end to improve search since users are likely to search company name, and unless it starts with an X, you might not show up in results.
