  instagram reach, why so weird?

  So, what I’ve noticed on the instagram of one of my clients (I manage his instagram and outline the strategies) is that some reels, of the same nature and subject matter reach many non followers while other reels reach an extremely small portion of non followers . What is the instagram engine behind this? I get really confused.
