INSTAGRAM IMPRESSIONS- what do “from home” and “from profile” mean
Would “from home” be how many of your followers saw your post i.e. your post showed up on their home page? Do they have to scroll to see it or does it still count one if technically your post had shown on their Home Screen but they never actually scrolled down to it? As in does Instagram know when someone has literally seen your post?
And would “from profile” mean that they were looking at your unique profile page, like scrolling through your profile?
I know some of this may seem self-explanatory, but I’m just downloading Instagram again after years of not having one for my business profile, and I’m out of the loop.

Yes, Home means your posts showed up in their home page and that’s the most valuable metric for your posts. Because you need to create content that’s most valuable for existing followers. Then you will eventually reach more non-followers.
Profile reach means someone saw your post when they visited their profile and clicked on it.
