Instagram: If all video “Posts” are now also shared as Reels, and Reels can appear as “Posts” in your profile grid, and in your followers’ feeds, then is there any advantage to uploading video content as one or the other?
Assuming the following conditions:
1. 9:16 vertical video is being used either way.
2. Video content has been filmed and edited using third-party hardware and software. (e.g. DSLR + iMovie)
3. Not looking to use any Reels features, such as music, filters, stickers, etc.​
Would love to hear from anyone who’s tested this and/or has any experience with these variables.
