Insights – pulling insights from a specific time period.
I hope someone can help me! I am new to this world and have been trying to figure this out for the past few weeks. I feel like I am shitting the bed. lol.
I am currently trying to troubleshoot something that is foundational to the accuracy of my reports – I need to get this sorted asap. What is happening is this – on Hootsuite, I am able to check the results of the metrics for the posts scheduled during a certain time period, but depending on when I put these stats, the numbers are different. In other words, it is not allowing me to set a time period and pull the results from that time period, for the posts in that same time period. For example, if I go in and check the reports from July 24th to 30th, the numbers will be different than when I (initially pulled the reports and) reported on them, because of the time I am generating the reports.
I want to be able to choose a specific time period – ie. July 24 – 30 and find out the insights for those posts, during that time period. Ideally, I would be able to do this on HS (and Meta).
HELP! Any and all advice is welcome.

How different are the metrics?
Typically not a hoot suite issue, more of the info being translated from the platform. If you aren’t able to pay for a more powerful platform I recommend trying to do the metrics yourself if you can spare the time.
