In general, how many ad groups and ads should I have in 1 campaign?
Hello, I’m a newbie I’m currently selling games online and I only have 1 ad per ad group and just 1 ad group per campaign.
How should I create more ad groups and ads, and what settings should be different between them?
The campaign right now is doing decent not too bad so I don’t know if I should even consider adding more ads and ad groups to it, but I have never seen anyone else run ads the way I’m doing mine
I’m running ‘Search Ads’ with no display ads with Google Ads

Whats the type of campaign and adset, whats the audience size, and whats the daily budget?

I don’t know the specifics of your account, but as a general rule of thumb your account structure should be intuitive to your business. Have 3 products each with different ROIs? 3 campaigns should do the trick. Then within each campaign, how many different themes of ad copy do you need to promote it? Each theme gets an ad group and a tightly bound set of relevant keywords. There’s not really a limit, but if you are using large RSAs, it’s usually a better idea to have fewer ad groups that each get maximum relevant traffic.
