In 13 years of doing SEO, I have never seen Google so broken.
Is anyone else experiencing weird issues with Google the last couple of weeks?
Lots of indexing issues with new pages and requests on old ones (unable to request re-indexing on multiple client sites).
Search intent is bad and results are shuffled continuously, layouts keep shifting, appears to be lots of traffic one minute then nothing for hours, yesterday was extreme.
For one hour there was a huge burst of traffic and lots of conversions, calls etc.. then quiet drips until 10pm last night, then taps on again until midnight.
Last week things were back to normal for a few days, conversions were high for quite a few days.

Facing same issue! Idk what’s wrong with Google.

Are users complaining or SEOs? Users seem to be fine with it. Also depending on what you are selling it can trend throughout the day. Are you also running paid? Are competitors running paid during certain times of the day?

There is only a big ad show left. There are more as only selling sites, sites with descriptive, entertaining solutions to problems that turn up way down in the search.

I’ve been experiencing random GMB issues the last few weeks across several different clients, including suspensions for profiles that meet guidelines to a T and verifications that get stuck “processing” for days on end. Support is less than helpful, either. I miss the old days where you could just call Google My Business support for issues.

People are using Google less, and moving to Bing as the first page of Google results is now always trash. You’re looking for info and it just wants to sell you something. As a result Google is frantically trying to fix the problem with tweaks, but it’s not enough.

Things have been screwy for months. After careful considerations over this time and speaking with many within the community, my only logical explanation is they’re intentionally nerfing all organic forms of income online to force a more monetized version.

Cant find anything on Google anymore. It’s all adds or over-inflated “EAT” pages that gloss over topics with no real answers. It’s total trash.

From a user perspective, I have noticed a difference for months. After scrolling through the ads, which I never look at, the results are just old. I’m frequently getting 2017ish dated articles. I’m done.
