I want to create a new social media that users can control recommendations better, as well as banning repost whore pages.
I am tired of instagram showing me the same thing over and over, even after you click on not interested, and try to filter out certain posts. It seems like they only want to show you certain types of users, and posts, and that there is no control over anything. I dont need to see the same thing, from 50 different accounts. Especially topics like animals posts that I have no desire to see. What do you guys think?

It honestly sounds like you just haven’t trained your algorithm well. A few days of interacting with the posts you actually want to see should automatically filter out those you don’t.
