Hi, I need to target car dealership owners (eventually managers) in the US in my Facebook Ad. I find audience part a bit tricky. So basically it is easy to select business owners or people with titles like CEO, Owner, Founder etc. located in the US.

But what can I do to make sure that these owners are actually owners of the dealerships? I can for example choose “car dealerships” in interests. But so many people are following Tesla, BMW etc. that I really doubt it will help me.

Can you please give me any advice on how to effectively target car dealership owners? Thanks in advance.

Linkedin is probably a better bet, no? If you want accuracy for their roles, linkedin. If you want a hunch, facebook.

Tbh, you’ll probably waste a lot of money with social media ads. Email marketing seems like your best option. SEO may work as well. Your target audience is a small B2B audience, social media will only frustrate and waste your time.
