I make a lot of videos that are shorter than 1 minute so that I can post them on YouTube shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook. 4 platforms.

The videos are all based around a product I make and that so am promoting.

Facebook used to be great, but in the last 18 months my posts haven’t got any traction really. I get millions of views regularly on YouTube, that’s my best platform. Every now and again TikTok does well for me and Instagram always does okay. My handle is @mosevic_eyewear

My question is, should I try using Snapchat? What about X? Are there any platforms I’m missing?

    Thanks

No, mate, platforms like Snapchat and X are not yet for short videos. You are doing pretty well on YouTube, so I’d suggest you leverage it as much as possible. Try experimenting with different kinds of videos, maybe shift to long-format videos, and monetize your account.

Threads is hot right now! I would be there! Facebook is ages 30 and up! You know you have to engage with your audience aswell as post! Chatting with them and engaging in conversations is just as important so make sure to leave comments and respond to comments like and share! The magic happens in niche communities and commenting on Facebook is especially important This increases the visibility of your posts, as Facebook will push content with higher interaction rates to more people. It also builds a stronger connection with fans, encouraging loyalty and ongoing engagement, which further boosts your organic reach.

Not sure about Snapchat but you might consider Pinterest. It’s video feature is growing and could help you with product promotion.

Don’t do X, the platform is declining so fast, I don’t think it’s going to be taken seriously anymore in a couple of years, anyways.

I wouldn’t overlook Snapchat since they are pumping a lot of money into the app and paying their creators.

But I think the typican Instagram, TikTok and YouTube do well anyways, YT pays their crators more than the others by percentage. But you need to know your audience and understand the algorithms of each platform, and as long as you don’t do that, it doesn’t matter that much where you post. The abckground knowledge is just as important as the content.

you’re already killing it with those platforms but if you’re looking to expand Snapchat could be worth a shot since they’ve been pushing Spotlight to compete with TikTok might not be as huge for business but hey never hurts to try right as for X (Twitter) video isn’t their strong point tho with Elon trying to push all kinds of changes who knows maybe reels-style content could catch on also don’t sleep on Pinterest if your product is aesthetic it’s solid for driving interest and traffic good luck

I would say Facebook and Instagram and also YouTube shorts as they are very quick and short.

I would go for pinterest and youtube. Pinterest videos get a lot of views for free so you can grow your business on the platform very fast with videos.

You have accumulated a lot of traffic on YouTube and TikTok. So great! Keep doing and use other platforms as a supplement.

I think TikTok and Instagram are best for short videos. Snapchat is just for fun, not for reels in my opinion.
