  • I don’t get as much reach on my Instagram reels as I used to

    Last summer, I started a little art/music account that I would post on roughly every day of the week. I followed a couple websites that said I should post IG reels around 1 p.m. (EST), I did and my reels did relatively well. I ended up deleting the account for stupid reasons I won’t dive into, but recently decided to open a new and nearly identical account. I followed the same SOP as I did with my original account, but it is not nearly performing as well as it used to. I am unsure what I am doing wrong. Does anyone have any ideas for a solution?

    What does SOP stand for?
    Why should the people you follow be responsible for your performance?

    Let’s put it this way: your first account had success. You trained the algorithm well to know your content and who to show it to. Now you have to do it over again. This might take a lot longer.

    It is a new account and it is normal to not to get any views or likes since Instagram doesn’t push a new account’s posts to so many people. ou can’t expect your newly created account to gain a lot from starting. Even if you posted at the righ time, you still haven’t got recognised by the algorithm and as Instagram favors acive users, I suggest you start posting more.

    I advise you to find a way to gain more followers and therefore more views and likes, so Instagram will start pushing your posts to non followers too. Interact with other people in your niche and try to comment on their posts and get their attention. And since you had a success with your previous account, I think that you already know how to do things and how to make this work again for you.

    If you want to gain followers quickly, you can follow these people so that will follow you back. This method can also help you to grow your account withing a short time. And if you can afford a growth service, it will be even better. These services can help you to gain followers and an interested audience in your content very fast. I believe that not all of them provide this but I know one called Ascend viral that does.

    You know growing an IG account these days is not easy and you can’t do it within a short time unless you pay for followers, so you just keep posting on a daily basis using the methods you used to grow your old account and hopefully they can work for you.
