Huge discrepancy between Google Analytics and Search Console
What could possibly explain a huge discrepancy between Google Search Console and Google Analytics?
My website is averaging 3k unique visitors per day. They are def not bots or anything because people are submitting comments, etc.
However, Google Search Console is saying that my website results were clicked on avg. \~20 times per day. It makes no sense. There is no way that 3k people go to the website directly daily.

have you synced your google analytics to search console? You get more accurate reads this way i find.. also without knowing what type of traffic it is we can’t answer your question.

analytics doesn’t account for all sorts of bot traffic, and bot traffic can definitely leave comments. do these comments they leave have a link in them?

Google analytics is a direct measurement of traffic. GSC is an estimate based on a sampling of data. Do not compare because they are measuring different things using different methodologies.

Analytics will show you the traffic source. Look there. I bet you will see that most of your traffic is not from organic search or if it is, it is from other search engines.
GSC doesn’t lie.

Most likely scenario is you are getting traffic from sources other than Google.

Google search console ONLY shows traffic from Google’s own Search systems. Not all other sources… social, returning visitors, people clicking on all those links Google suggests are not important (they are). Thise newsletters… GSC is a subset of your traffic.
