  • How to send e-mails without getting added to the receivers spam/junk folder?

Posted by seohelper on March 9, 2020 at 9:18 am

I’ve tried to contact a good amount of influencers by sending them short messages with imgur links via Gmail. However, only a 5-10% replied, and some of them even mentioned that my message was found in their spam folder. I guess that was the main reason of such a low response rate.

Is there a way to avoid something like that? Maybe there is a specific time/messages limit? That’s something new to me so I really don’t know much about it.

    Thanks in advance!

Spf, dkim, dmarc – look them up. Set them up.
Warm the email up. If you are landing in spam folders do some tests yourself and see where sending to a gmail account is landing. Your domain reputation may be low.
Check the email score before you send it.

If people mark it as spam, and some people are inclined to do so, then it has an impact on your domain reputation and it negatively effects deliverability. If you do the spf etc that will go a long way to improve this.

I mean what you are doing falls under spam so the filter is working..right? Sending unsolicited email to multiple recipients is spam. I mean I don’t blame you for trying but you need to rethink your strategy of how you engage with these influencers. Email isn’t the best channel for it.
