My niche is in medical nutrition and I have a custom page on my site where you can sort and filter foods that meet certain criteria for your needs. Each food is a custom post type that contains an image and some relevant nutrition info. The page assembles all these custom posts and displays the picture and some relevant data that you can then sort or filter based on your needs. There is very little verbiage on the page otherwise.

How do I optimize such a page? I created a post that walks users through how to use the page…and this post seems to show up in searches. But not the page itself. I don’t even think google has indexed it the main page. All I can think of it to maybe put the keyword in all the image descriptions/alt text.

    Thoughts?

You could incorporate the dynamic page with the content page, sort of a guide to use the calculator and the calculator in the same page.
