Take one problem at a time. You properly have a site that works now.

Search engine. It’s very important, if you have many products and I’m guessing that you have many products that people don’t search for on Google.

More products, almost every problem in an e-commerce Business can be solved by adding more products. You get more traffic, more sales, pick up baskets size, more product suggestions from customers and other things.

Shipping is probably going to be a big problem for you. as far as I know, most grocery Web shops have their own shipping.

Categories work great for catching keywords and trafic from google. Like: best local tomato, Grass fed beef, organic salad, and many many others and when you’re done, just do it all over again and add the word cheap.
You can make thousands of categories just based on keywords.

Making basket size bigger: better suggestions for products people want, better search engine, better suggestion engine for products-like-this, better personalized content on the side and on and on.

Campaigns for your existing customers, the ones using your site or the ones on your own channels like newsletter are a great way to drive sales, use your down time and staying first of mind.

Also find a great guy/girl to drive lukewarm traffic to the side with mass market marketing.
