How to keep my client satisfied?
I have some difficulties with the communication with one of my clients, there is always some negative feeling in the communication. Very direct and hard in the way to say things.
I can handle it till some point, but it makes me doubt my skills even though the results confirm my skills.
we are now 2 months into the process. they have a contract of at least 6 months. It is a local business (restaurant) and they grew from not visible or 4-5th page and very very very low in google maps to first page and even top 3 position on some of the keywords, these keywords are direct intentions like dinner in …, restaurant in … lunch in …, Traffic to website is increasing a lot as well.
the owner has passed everything on to her manager, because she was heading towards burnout herself, the manager is far too busy to deliver the things I request to work with.
And now I am being told that things on the website for upcoming events have not yet been converted into pages and that this is costing customers. This feels double for me, because I also want these pages to be online, I remind the manager every week when I can expect the information/content, but 1 month later I still have not received it. I put the owner in the cc, so she knows about my reminders, but seems to point to me as the party why it has not been done yet.
and they are now saying that they are happy to pay me, but that the things that have been planned for a month must be done, even though this is beyond my control, content creation for the website is not the only thing I do and despite the increases in the rankings and the increase in visitors and activities around the Google Business Profile, she only sees what has not been done.
I’m a small freelancer, currently with 6 SEO clients. I do everything myself. How do I make it clear that my work does “work” and that SEO is not a quick win strategy to immediately get more customers, even though the results are already going very well.
