  How to improve ranking of low KD and low-volume keywords

  Help resolve a debate among SEO experts:

  What’s the best way to improve the ranking of low KD and low-volume keywords?

  1. Create backlinks to the main page with keywords in the anchor text, and add internal links from the main page to the target page.
  2. Create backlinks directly to the target page, even though this approach requires many more backlinks and referral websites.

  I wouldn’t stress too much about backlinks with low KD and low-volume.
  I would however focus on on page SEO and quality content.
