How to handle fake clicks by competitors via Vps and Vpn
Our target market is USA CANADA and search ads doing better for us the only thing which is draining is Proxy attack by competitors… How to counter it, the things we have tried so far
1) Click Block Softwares
Click cease / Ppc sheild and few others
2) Gather ips of fake click and exclude them
3) Narrow targeting
4) Report to google but no luck

Sorry to hear you’re in this situation. I have a few questions please.
1. How do you know these are competitors clicking on your ads, and not just low quality clicks from people using VPNs?
2. Is there a pattern to the clicks? For example, at roughly the same time every day, a person using X timezone searches for Y keyword and then clicks on your ad?
3. Are you using any fingerprinting software to detect the same device is doing the clicks?
4. What data did you present to Google for a refund? In cases like this, you need to really spell things out for them so the only way they can dismiss the refund is by admitting they tolerate click fraud.
