How to counter the decline in Instagram Story Views?
Hey there.
I’ve been experiencing a rather sharp drop in story view counts on my brand’s Instagram page in the last few months. While my follower count has slightly risen, the story views have plummeted from 23% to a mere 3%. Even my reach seems to have taken a hit.
This severe decline seems unlikely to be simply because my audience has decided to hide my content, especially as I haven’t been posting as regularly. I’m curious if anyone else has encountered this issue, and if so, any solutions to reverse the trend?

It comes and goes for me with a few pages I manage on IG. Are you tagging locations and adding hashtags to all of the stories? I find adding those every. single. time. must be done for our pages to get pushed to our average story watchers.
Also posting every other day and letting the full 24 hrs pass before posting a new story helps us reach more views.

Also, consistency is key. Stick to a posting schedule. Cross-promote stories on other platforms too.
