  • How should i increase website traffic even after all on-page and off-page activities?

Posted by beggartorich on October 16, 2024 at 8:51 am

I have been doing all the on-page and off-page activities for my website but the traffic is still not improving. Infact it is going down on month on month basis.
Can anyone suggest any new strategies that i can apply to increase traffic on my website.

It’s tough to see traffic decline after putting in so much effort on both on-page and off-page SEO. Here are a few strategies you might consider:

    1. **Content Refresh**: Update your existing content with new information, images, or data to make it more relevant.
    2. **Long-Tail Keywords**: Target long-tail keywords that might have less competition but can drive more specific traffic.
    3. **Engagement Metrics**: Improve user engagement by enhancing site navigation, increasing loading speed, and ensuring mobile optimization.
    4. **Utilize Social Media**: Promote your content through social media channels to reach a broader audience.
    5. **Guest Blogging**: Write guest posts for reputable sites in your niche to build backlinks and drive referral traffic.
    6. **Email Marketing**: Leverage your email list to share new content and engage with your audience.

Have you tried any of these approaches? Sometimes a fresh perspective can make a big difference!

Difficult to analyse without anymore information but one thing to consider is search demand. If you’re ranking well but still aren’t gaining many clicks, perhaps it’s not an industry where your customers are looking for it through search engines. Have you considered diversifying into other channels?

If traffic’s dropping, try checking your keyword rankings to spot any dips. I use sem rush, ahref, and lately SERPtag since it’s cheaper. It helps me catch ranking changes and tweak content fast. Also, refreshing old content can sometimes boost traffic.
