How often to post to IG & FB, and how often to post to stories?
Posted by denvercarolina93 on September 18, 2024 at 6:56 pmI'm trying to get my company's engagement + follower numbers up and even with posting every day most of the time, the engagement numbers are between 1-2% when we need them to be closer to 3-5%, the industry standard. Should I stop posting as much? How often should I be posting to our stories? I just feel lost.

GuestSeptember 18, 2024 at 7:45 pmStop thinking about “industry standard” and focus on your target audience. What do they do? You won’t post stories about highschool textbooks during school hours because your target audience will be in school and not at phones. Apply the same startegy to your niche, and grow your audience. Post a few times a day, across fb, ig, tiktok and snapchat. Use the social media for what it’s good for. Fb for text, write what you offer, ig for stories, snapchat for pictures, show on snapchat with pictures what you show on fb with text. Focus on more than just engagment, you can have 1% engagement if it’s profitable….

GuestSeptember 19, 2024 at 1:14 amI have an account with 12k and my reels get 260k views, other less.
I post Monday to Thursday reels. And every day I post stories (2 aesthetic stories + 1 interactive + 2 aesthetic).

GuestSeptember 19, 2024 at 6:12 amPosting every day is good, but sometimes less is more! Try posting 3-4 times a week on your feed with higher-quality content. For stories, posting daily can help keep your audience engaged without overloading them. Focus on engaging with followers through comments and DMs too—that can help boost your engagement rate!

GuestSeptember 19, 2024 at 10:10 amHey there! Seems like you’re in the social media trenches, trying to crack the engagement code. If daily posts aren’t quite hitting the mark, maybe mixing things up could help. Try posting every other day and use stories to keep things fresh and interactive. It’s like a social media diet: sometimes less is more, but with the occasional snack! Keep experimenting and tweaking—engagement is a marathon, not a sprint. 😊📈

GuestSeptember 19, 2024 at 1:13 pmConsistency is the key 🔑
Make a plan and stick to it.
Example: Our target is 1 IG reel per day at noon, Monday-Friday, and share one of our reels to our story each day (IG stories are being viewed by followers)

GuestSeptember 19, 2024 at 2:08 pmIt’s not just about quantity, but quality too. Try focusing on creating more engaging, interactive content and mix up your posting schedule.
Sometimes less is more, especially if it means better content.
