This question is for India. Getting to know the approx charge in other countries will also be helpful though.

For example if a brand says they want you to make a reel showcasing their product. A recipe reel maybe. How much should you charge the brand considering you have a page with 10k followers and 1 million+ reach average per month.

Calculate backwards: if it’s a recipe reel, remove your coating for ingredients + shoot (rentals, etc) and multiply by 2.5. That should give you an ideal cost.

One of my former clients would charge around ₹60K for her recipe reel collabs, but again that was because it was complicated + was professionally shot.

It’s not about the number of followers.

It is necessary to calculate your average engagement on publications (views, likes, comments). Reach in this case is not so important, because if the audience is passive, it will not bring any interactions to the brand.

Plus, it is necessary to take into account other important indicators: the correspondence of the brand’s niche and your page; preferences in the target audience, and so on.

Depends. I worked in an agency where we were willing to pay influencers slightly higher rates because we didn’t have a studio. We needed the partner to provide that and it usually worked out cheaper than us hiring a studio

If a brand with only 10K followers says their IG has 1M+ reach per month, they must be promoting their content or lying. ***Organic*** reach on IG and FB is less than 3% (this includes brands who have 1M followers.. it would not be 1M reach) at the very best of times.

I’d be more keen for them to back up their claims around reach and not only show me the numbers are legit, but that the target audience is legit/relevant to who you are wishing to target.
