How many words should a ecommerce category page have?
As the tittle reads, i have problems regarding this topic since the top10 competitor have like 100 words at most in the topics with 20k search visits.. and i am unsure if more words would help or do i need more blogs with interlinks to the page.. i undestand my "competitors" have been on the market for 20+years and have over 100k back links but i havent been able to rank for the topic no matter what
But having too much text is hurting my category page as it looks terrible -

It is probably also worth while to see what the keyword density for the main keyword is in those 100 words, and what and how many synonyms are being used.
That will say much more about the ranking than just the amount of words used
