How many posts to upload a day to a new site?
I’m building a guide/how-to style blog site for a certain niche.
I have around 50 articles written and ready to go.
Can I upload these all to my site at once or should I do a few a week etc?

You should do them all at once. There is zero SEO benefit to staggering them.
The only reason I would consider staggering posts is if there was some value to another marketing channel. For example, if you had an email list and you want to try to bring people back once a week to read the latest post.
Other than that, push them all out as soon as they are ready.

It depends what kind of business you have.
I sometimes drip fees the blog because there are people who visit the pages to see authenticity of the business. If there’s an active blog section, they are more enticed to engage with the said business.
Otherwise what matters is how far your articles reach to how many people, irrelevant when they are posted.
