How does a pipe, or vertical bar, in a company name affect search results?
I’m by no means an expert, but have been tasked with managing some SEO projects for our small business. The company name sometimes features a vertical bar in between two words instead of a space, and I believe this is causing issues with our Google Knowledge Graph and potentially search rankings too. Could this be the case, and should I recommend to senior leadership that we stop using the pipe?

Thing is that the pipe character is extremely common to use as a data delimiter between fields. Maybe if you used it as an HTML character form ( | or ¦) instead?
