How do you track competition ads?

Posted by seohelper on April 22, 2020 at 7:05 am

Hi, I just started getting into e-commerce (crazy time. I know).. I’m curious how people actually track competitor advertisements, and what insights should i aim to get from their ads? Is it worth the time invested?

Is there any tool to list all my competitor ads without going inside facebook and manually looking?

Few people have built API based products on top of that, which trigger alerts or form a Chrome Extension. Few posts floating around on this sub.

For Google I mainly use a mix of sistrix, ahrefs and the serps.

Also I find [Local Search Result Checker](https://www.brightlocal.com/local-search-results-checker/) to be incredibly useful for competitor analysis as well. Especially if your client/company operates globally

Yes, there are so many tools to track competitor’s ads like Ahref, Semrush Spyfu or any other tool to track your competitor’s advertising. All the tools are very good & easy to use. And if you are just started e-commerce you must track your competitors so that you can create something unique & enhance your online traffic and sales.

**Here are important things which you should check in the competitor’s advertising**

    * What are the most relevant keywords which are using by your competitors
    * What are the publishers where your competitors showing ads
    * From where your competitors are getting the most relevant traffic means organically or paid.
    * How many backlinks your competitors have? Means is that high authority website or not.
    * How many ads your competitors have created
    * What is the layout of their ads and what is yours? Compare them to your ads.

**Track all these things in your competitor’s advertising from any tools this will help you to increase your online traffic & sales.**
