How do you think unskippable ads will affect Instagram?
They say it's just "testing" but everyone knows that means it'll be in your feed by July. What do you think? Will it drive users away? Increase ad CTRs? Upset both users and media buyers?

Nonskippable ad will outperform in short to medium term then regress to normal. Non-skippable ads will suffer. Platform overall will probably suffer.

They are probably shaving off user engagement in the long run… then buying another app for people under 30 and then slowly ruin that too.. If this becomes permanent, IG will be the new FB… Businesses still HAVE to be on IG as there are not much more around that reaches everyone.
