How do you guys handle two-factor authenticator with distributed teams?
This isn’t the perfect sub to ask but I know someone knows the answer here.
Take a marketing team of 5 people and they need access to a number of digital profiles, let’s say Instagram for example. Different cities, devices and people. The requests to login are plentiful.
The accounts bind to a phone number and sends a code during login. Problem is when it’s tied to an employees phone number, the employee isn’t always available to send it so it creates blockers. Relying on one person in a corporation is ridiculous.
Most mainstream SMS platforms are blocked by sites like Instagram.
We are considering buying a phone and setting to always unlock and then live-streaming the footage 24/7 to the team. Sounds ridiculous but this is where we are at. As the teams grow, this problem gets more and more annoying.
