GuestAugust 31, 2024 at 6:15 pmso you wanna grow your instagram followers fast, huh i think 10k by end of year is pretty ambitious but doable, ive worked with brands that grew their following super quickly through constant posting, engaging content, and collaborating with influencers, also running a paid ad campaign can help, but since you’ve been growing organically i’d say mix it up a bit try posting different types of content like videos, stories, and reels, and use hashtags strategically, also, engage with your current followers and respond to every comment, id say give a mix of organic and paid a try and see how it goes.

GuestAugust 31, 2024 at 7:22 pminsta has REALLY been focusing on reels, so that’s probably your main way to gain attraction, using key words in your post that relate to your niche is also important so it shows up for people looking up those keywords on search. try to stick with posting at least a few times a week and interact with your followers!

GuestAugust 31, 2024 at 8:27 pmThe best way to grow is to create valuable content. What will someone get out of your content? What will make them want to share it, comment, engage, etc. Instagram is also pushing VALUABLE carousel posts. Not photo dumps, but posts that give value. Please do not buy fake followers whatever you do, it will only hurt you and the client in the long run. I think it’s best to be upfront with your client. Tell them that there’s no easy way to just get thousands of followers. If there was an easy way to do it, everyone would be doing it. Growing organically takes time.

GuestSeptember 2, 2024 at 5:20 pmTo gain followers, you’ll need a solid strategy that uses monthly insights to help inform what content resonates the most with audiences. However, this takes a long time (the most I’ve seen purely through organic is growing about 1,000 per month).
Other things that have gotten me followers fast include contests and following and engaging with other accounts. Contests will have you lose followers as fast as you gain them, and engagement works, but many brands don’t want to follow 20K brands to get 10K to follow back. I also had a client set up an ad campaign to get followers, and it totally backfired. Our performance was down, and we were constantly spammed.
Outside of organic, what really got one of my clients a lot of followers quickly is through influencer campaigns and collaborative posts with other accounts. Through working with influencers (who had 10K-5M followers), we grew our following by over 25,000 in 6 months. However, my client had the budget to compensate influencers. If you don’t have the budget, I would reach out to smaller creators or complimentary brands to work on a collab post. But again, this approach will take longer.
My best advice is to level set with the client. Understand why they want to gain followers (because it’s pretty much a vanity metric and doesn’t ensure brand awareness). Let your clients know that effective follower growth takes time, and try to focus their attention on other KPIs such as views, impressions, and engagements. Lastly, there is no guarantees in social and the algorithm is always changing. Today, with the pay-for-play model, it’s harder than ever to grow on platforms, especially Instagram.

GuestSeptember 3, 2024 at 12:56 amReally depends on your content. We went from 0 to 1k in about 3 months, then to 10k after 2 months. Growth slowed after that because we posted less often, but we’re now at 30k followers after hitting one thousand 1 year ago.
Most important factor is going to be your content. In our case we identified a niche related to tourism that other content creators were not able to touch upon, largely due to a language and culture barrier. Once we settled on the brand archetype of authority/expert in information / guide, we had a clear reason for people to follow us.
Next major factor will be audience engagement. Get them to comment, like, share, save, follow, dm you, etc.
The most important factor for the algorithm is going to be how much people spend looking at your post followed by how they interact with it. Make good content, don’t forget the CTA.
