How do you gain your first few hundred likes/followers organically?
Does anyone have any tips or tricks for building an audience from the ground up? Curious to see how people get the ball rolling organically.
EDIT: To clarify – I’m not looking for “hacks”. Just curious what others are doing to help clients build their profiles from the ground up outside of finding relevant groups, inviting friends, etc.

The easiest answer is the follow for follow method. Search hashtags and other accounts in your niche and follow as many people as possible (be careful not to be spammy or else you’ll end up shadowbanned). If you do it right, you can get roughly 30% of them to follow you back. This is definitely not a long term solution though. Follow for follow will get you those first couple hundred followers, but they are likely not going to engage and a lot won’t stick around. It’s more about getting enough followers to look somewhat legitimate. Real growth will come from fostering community, posting content that adds real value, and engaging your audience.
