How do you figure out the why when comparing ad results?

Posted by AndersonRKeegan on November 9, 2022 at 5:43 pm

I’m curious how some of you determine the why of what worked and what didn’t when analyzing data in a campaign?

For instance, let’s say you have 1 campaign with 4 video ads, each video has a different model in it but all of the ads have similar messaging and calls to action? What are some of the steps you take to determine how 1 ad worked better than the other?

    All insight is appreciated.

If you have ads all saying the same thing, you are not learning anything. It’s the same message. You should come up with other messaging, that’s what you should be testing, not different models in a video ad or different colors.

Think of what your audience wants (sometimes they don’t know themselves but you need to put yourself in their shoes) and more importantly, needs. There are different wants and needs. You test different ads of these. The one that produces the most traffic and the most conversions is the best.
