How do I make a campaign optimize only for one conversion goal?

Posted by tom_spur on December 12, 2022 at 7:04 pm

I have a Google Ads account with 3 conversion goals, but there’s a campaign where I want to optimize only for one of them. How do I do that? And how do I check if the campaign is actually only optimizing for that specific goal? Thanks!

Depending on the campaign, you can set a campaign specific conversion goal: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9143218?hl=en

Follow the support article for setup. For checking, add the all conv metric as a column next to the conversion metric column then add a segment to your view based on conversion action.

You should see a list of all conversions and the attributed actions in the all conversion column but only the actions you want to count as a conversion in the conversion metric column.
