How do I know what is a scam?
I’m very aware with scams that include links to “help a friend login” and things that seem super out of place, or random DMs from brand new accounts, but this one has me stumped. I have around 1,000 followers on instagram and I received a DM from an account with nearly a million followers by the name of AuraActive_NY about something to do with an ambassadorship for their activewear. Idk how to feel because they do have a lot of followers and their website looks good, but I’m a random 18 year old with like 2 instagram posts back from early high school. Is this a scam and if it is, how does it work?

Is the brand famous?
Is he famous?90% of the time is a strategy to have free traffic from not expert users. It’s an old trick
