How do I find mentor to guide me to build a social media personal branding
I am badly in need for a mentor who can guide me on building a personal brand n social media especially on linkedin and youtube. I have a strong professional portfolio but um struggling to plan out how can i use those to build my personal branding.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure about mentorship, but as a social media marketer, I can probably guide you towards the right path. What exactly are you looking to achieve through personal branding? Do you want to sell some services? Are you looking to get clients for coaching? And what exactly is your niche?

Get an online presence, regularly attend industry events and reach out to professionals you admire.

u/pp227, why do you feel like you need a mentor? Why can’t you just go learn the skills from somewhere like YouTube?
I understand where you’re coming from, I am 100% self-taught when it comes to social media marketing. You can learn a lot of what you need just from researching on your own.
Here’s a tip to get you started: What kind of story do you want to tell the world with you brand? Do you want to sell a product? Share your knowledge? Build A community? (This is your “niche”)
Once you have that nailed down, do research on what kind of content works in that niche.
Those two things will help put you on the right track way more than coaching would, in my opinion.
