How can someone get a backlink from a big site like HowToGeek for only $45?
Hi everyone,
I was just scrolling through my Facebook feed today when I came across a post that caught my attention. In the post, someone was offering to insert a backlink on HowToGeek, one of the biggest tech sites on the web, for just $45. And apparently, someone had already taken up the offer.
For those who don’t know, HowToGeek is a massive site with over 15 million monthly visitors. So naturally, I’m a bit skeptical that they would accept such a low rate for a backlink. It just seems too good to be true.
I’m really curious about how this person is managing to offer backlinks on such a big site for such a low price. So, I reached out to them and asked for more information. They quoted me $50 for a backlink, which is still pretty cheap in my opinion.
Has anyone else heard of this before? Is it legit, or should I be wary of this kind of offer?

It may be a link insert but for $50, it could be an offer to upsell you fast

It could be that it’s not a guest post but something like press release or a nofolow backlink or it could be that they got an author account for the website.
Basically paying the website $100 up front and then selling 12-15 guest posts on their site for $10.
Either way be sure to ask questions before and make sure you are getting what your paying for.
